The leading Indian actress of Bollywood, Anushka Sharma is back on the screen with a biopic of the former Indian cricket team captain, Jhulan Goswami. The movie is to be premiered on  Online platform “Netflix”

The movie revolves around the supremacy of Jhulan Goswami, her journey in cricket leaving behind all the obstacles levied upon by the society of misogynists. Jhulan didn’t care about anyone and she just focused on her dream of playing cricket.

As inspiring the success story of Jhulan is, her movie where her character is portrayed by Anushka Sharma is welcomed by the audience with criticism.

On 06th January, trailer of Chakda Xpress, biopic of Jhulan Goswami was dropped. The lead character is played by Anushka Sharma. The movie is produced by Anushka Sharma and Karnesh Sharma and directed by Prosit Roy under the production house of Clean Slate Filmz. The movie will release on Netflix.

Audience has not positively welcomed the trailer. Certain people have certain views like Anushka Sharma is not fit for the role, some are saying her Bengali accent is not suited on her image and others have other point of view.

Some people have given positive remarks appreciating the fact that the struggle faced by Jhulan Goswami will be experienced by one and all. Jhulan’s jounery is an inspiration for women’s cricket team restructuring.

She started playing cricket when people were of a mindset where cricket was not for women. She was forced to drop this as her career.
