RRR: Fans in Karnataka have demanded that SS Rajamouli's RRR be boycotted before the grand release of Ram Charan, Jr NTR's flick. RRR, starring Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Ajay Devgan, will be released in theatres on March 25th. Before SS Rajamouli's much-anticipated film, the RRR release "#BoycottRRRinKarnataka" was trending on Twitter.
This film is attracting a lot of interest ahead of its release due to its superb cast, extensive advertising, and celebrity endorsements. While many fans are eager for the film's premiere, Karnataka fans and netizens are disappointed and flocked to Twitter on Wednesday to express their displeasure with the film's absence of Kannada distribution.
RRR will be available in five Indian languages: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Fans are disappointed, though, because the Kannada version of RRR is only displayed on a few screens. What enrages supporters even more is the inability to get a ticket in Karnataka.
"#BoycottRRRinKarnataka @ssrajamouli this is a tremendous insult for kannadigas, now is the time to BAN RRR movies in Karnataka, we would only welcome if it is in Kannada."
#WewantRRRinKarnataka #BoycottRRRinKarnataka Karnataka residents 1. They'd like to see the #RRRMovie in Kannada. 2. They want the Kannada version to be released. 3. Kannada folks adore @RRRMovie and would like to see it in Kannada. 4. There is nothing against Rajmouli or any of the actors here."
