Akshaya Patra Foundation

Akshaya Patra Foundation is the only foundation that provides healthy meals to the approximately 18 lakh students studying in about 19000 government schools around the world, which must have been heard in the name of mid-day meals. In 2003, when Akshaya Patra partnered with the government, mid-day meals are provided by the foundation to all government school children.

Akshaya Patra's main motive is that no child in India will stay away from his education, that too just because of hunger. And with this motive, they are marching ahead and their goal is that in 2025, through this foundation, they can provide healthy food to 5 million children.
