Since 1978, the Asha Deep Foundation has been a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the community. Since its founding in 1983 by Fr. A.R. Rajamoney, the foundation has placed a strong emphasis on serving society as a whole and having a positive impact on as many people as possible. It has always sought for the holistic development of community members, giving equal weight to all demographics.
Asha Deep Foundation Works with the poor and disadvantaged to inspire and motivate them to recognize their own dignity, develop their own capabilities, and solve their own issues. The organization aims to contribute to people's social and economic development by giving whatever practical assistance they require in the form of information, guidance, capacity building, training, and support.

In 1982 Asha Deep Foundation started giving attention to Shahid Nagar, Ghaziabad, U.P. The community was very underdeveloped. They made a jhuggi and started living there. They established two beautiful homes for orphan and destitute children and through these homes, many children are getting benefits and building their bright future.
The Asha Deep Foundation in New Delhi focuses on education and skill training. This foundation is involved in a number of projects, with a particular focus on education, health, skill development, training, and placement. ADF now has around 23 initiatives in the works, ranging from maternal and child care through the end of the life cycle. The programs serve everyone in the community, including women, children, older citizens, physically challenged persons, orphans, and the poor. This foundation is carrying out development initiatives in rural and urban slums, as well as resettlement colonies, in order to reach the greatest number of persons in the community who are socioeconomically disadvantaged.

Father Rajamoney was born in Dohnavar, Tirunelveli Dist, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, on June 25, 1936. The eighth child of late Dr. Pakia Nathan Daniel Rajamoney and late Mrs. Sellammal Rajamoney, he was the son of late Dr. Pakia Nathan Daniel Rajamoney and late Mrs. Sellammal Rajamoney. He was born into a family of seven brothers and four sisters. He attended Malaysia's St. John's High School and received his B.Ed. from Chennai's Meston Training College Royapetttah. After that, he went on to Bishop's College in Kolkata to pursue a Bachelor of Divinity (BD) in Theology. In 1967, he moved to Delhi and became a member of the Brotherhood of Ascended Christ-Delhi Brotherhood Society. He also began serving as the Tamil Congregation's Presbyter at Cathedral Church of Redemption. Continuing his service, he began social development work in 1973 with the goal of creating an environment in which every human being can live in peace, fairness, and unity in the community and society at large.
