Dimple Kapadia Biography: - Dimple Kapadia was born on 8 June 1957 in Bombay, Bombay State, India. She is an Indian actress predominantly appearing in Hindi films. She longed to be an actress since she was a child, and her first break came as a result of her father's efforts to get her into the film business.
At the age of 14, she was found by filmmaker Raj Kapoor, who put her in the title character in his adolescent romance Bobby (1973), which was a commercial hit and brought her widespread public exposure. She married actor Rajesh Khanna and left performing shortly before the film's release in 1973. Kapadia returned to the screen in 1984, two years after her divorce from Khanna. Her comeback film, Saagar, released a year later, resurrected her career. Bobby and Saagar were both nominated for Best Actress at the Filmfare Awards.
