Unemployment is deep rooted in our coutry and the sector which comprises most it is the labor sector. These are the people who are in the need of the work but not getting the appropriate opportunity on the basis of their expertise and skills. Hence, they get non satisfactory job opportunities. The rationale being the presence of unorganized sector.

Central Government launched a portal called e-shram portal under the department of Ministry of Labour & Employment. People associated with some jobs or services can apply under this scheme.

E Shram Card  2022 Registration Procedure

1. The entire procedure to register under the said scheme is online. We will look at it step by step.
2. First of all, one has to visit the https://www.sarkariresult.com/ where an external link will be found for E labor registration. Click on that link.
3. The candidate will then be asked to enter his mobile number, captcha code and OTP (One Time Password) so received on his mobile number.
4. Third step will be for verification of the Adhaar number. It will verified by registered mobile number/ Bio metric/IRIS.
5. Post verification of Adhaar number, his Adhaar card photo will appear on the screen. From here, candidate has to click on continue.
6. It will take the applicant on a new page where details like Name, Fathers’ name, E-mail address, education qualification, details of work, income, bank account details, etc will be asked.
7. After previewing all the information, submit the application. E sharam card/ UAN card will be generated. The applicant can download it.

E Shram Card 2022 Eligibility criteria

• Only citizens of India can reap the benefits of this scheme.
• The applicant shall be associated with employment/job/service.
• A person who is a member of Employment Provident Fund Organization or Employment State Insurance Corporation or an Income tax Payer is prohibited or ineligible to register under this scheme.
• The minimum age limit is 16 years.
• The maximum age limit is 59 years.
• There is no registration fee irrespective of the category.
