Early Life: - Elli AvrRam was born in Stockholm, Sweden on July 29, 1990. She grew up in Stockholm's Tyresö kommun. Jannis Avramidis, her Greek father, is a musician who has lived in Sweden, and her Swedish mother, Maria Granlund [sv], is an actress who appeared in Ingmar Bergman's Fanny and Alexander. AvrRam was always interested in figure skating, singing, and dancing. AvrRam learned to perform from her mother and aunt, who own a theatre in Skane County, Sweden. AvrRam has had a strong affinity toward India since she was a youngster.
"Even when I was five, I was attracted by Indian dancing and the beautiful attire," she told the local Stockholm daily Mitt i. Because her father is a Greek musician, she discovered that some Greek songs are similar to Indian tunes. AvrRam has wanted to be a Bollywood actor since she was a child. She used to go to a video store in Stockholm that used to sell Hindi movies and buy Bollywood movies there. She used to watch Hindi movies on YouTube as well.
Professional Career: At the age of 17, AvrRam joined the Stockholm-based Pardesi Dance Group and began performing dances to Bollywood tunes.
