Our constitution provides the right to education to each and every citizen of the country but some people are depriving of this right. The people who lack resources for providing education to their children or even if they to, the quality is not top notch.
Hence, e-Vidyaloka came into existence in 2011 with an aim of providing quality of education in the rural villages of India.
e-Vidyaloka works as a Non Profit Organization with the purpose of changing the educational infrastructure of India. It gathers teachers who voluntarily teach the students of rural government schools across digital platform.

The NPO aims at educating the children of India irrespective of the remote areas or lack of sources. The organization fulfills this with the teachers who volunteer themselves in teaching these students from primary to higher education subjects.
With working in multiple states in India like Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal, its headquarters is located in Bengaluru.
The birth of this organization was back when former employees of Microsoft India, Mr. Satish Viswanathan along with Mr. Venkataraman Sriraman took a decision of creating digital classrooms across the rural regions with the help of volunteers so that these children could lead a better life by receiving and rewarding them with quality of education.
The volunteers be it retired person, housewives or graduates who are passionate about teaching takes a 2 hour class everyday via video conferencing software like Skype or zoom call.
Now the organization is working actively in many states with 37 staff members.
