Rural Storage Subsidy Scheme has been launched to increase the condition of the farmers of the country and make them self-dependent. In order to help the farmers in building a warehouse for the storage of agricultural produce, the government is given a loan from the right to help the organizations related to agriculture, as well as there is a subsidy in it.

Gramin Bhandaran Yojana is a capital investment subsidy scheme, which works towards construction and renovation of godowns in rural areas which helps the farmers to increase their perception power. To give the benefit of the scheme to the farmers and to keep the crop safe, storage will be constructed. For that, mortgage is provided by the government for the construction of warehouse for the storage of agriculture. Through which subsidy on loan is provided to the farmers.

Gramin Bhandaran subsidy yojana 2022 subsidy rates

• One third of the capital cost of the project will be provided as a grant to entrepreneurs and SC / S&T organizations belonging to these communities or to a location in a hilly region of the Northeast State. The maximum limit is 3 crore rupees.
• A contribution of up to 25% on the capital of the project will be granted if the person carrying out the construction is a farmer or if the farmer is a graduate or belongs to any cooperative organization. In this case, the maximum amount will be 2.25 crore.
• All other categories include individuals, corporations and corporations in which a subsidy of 15% of the cost of project capital will be provided. The maximum amount in this situation is Rs 1.35 crore.
• If the descent is repeated with the help of the NCDC, 25% of the cost will be covered in the form of a subsidy.

• For 1000 ton capacity godown: - Appraised project cost or actual cost as provided by the bank or Rs.3500/- per ton, whichever is lower.
• Godowns with capacity above 1000 ton: - Appraisal project cost or actual cost or Rs. 1500 per tonne provided by the bank. Whichever is less of these

• It is mandatory to have some facilities in the warehouse such as pucca road, drainage system, security system, unloading system etc.
• All skylights and windows should be protected from birds.
• The windows as well as the door should be air-tight.
• Godown should be safe from germs.
• The construction of warehouse should be as per the guidelines of CPWD or CPWD-K.
• He can build a planet of reserves anywhere he wants.
• Under the Rural Storage Scheme, it is mandatory for the applicant to get a license for the warehouse.
• If the stock planet is more than 1000 tonnes, then it is necessary to get recognition from CWC.
• The height of the warehouse should not be less than 4-5 meters.
• Under this scheme the godown should be built as per the engineering standards.
• Under the Warehouse Subsidy Scheme 2022, the applicant will have to build scientific storage.
• Under this scheme, it is mandatory for the applicant to have his own land.
• The capacity of the godown has been decided based on the application under this scheme.
• It is mandatory for the warehouse to be outside the limits of the municipal corporation.
