The government of Himachal Pradesh has started many good Yojanas in its state. A Yojana has been started by the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Rajiv Gandhi for the better future of the students, which is named Rajiv Gandhi's Free Laptop Yojana. In this Yojana, those promising students of the state will be benefited who live their life below the poverty line. Those students cannot buy a computer or laptop due to poverty. Under this Yojana, the government has committed to giving about 10000 laptops to Yojana.

According to this Yojana, a student who gets good marks in 10th and 12th will get the benefit of this Yojana. In this Yojana, the government has issued that it will give 5000 laptops to 10th pass students and the rest 5000 laptops will be given to 12th pass students.
