He is an American football coach and former quarterback who now serves as the offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He attended Boise State University, where he won 50 games, the most of any FBS starting quarterback. He spent three seasons with both the Lions and the Cowboys. Following his retirement, he returned to Dallas as a coach, becoming the team's offensive coordinator in 2019.
