Then on March 2, she was arrested for the kidnapping of her stepson. On 18 March Gannon's body was discovered in a suitcase near Pace, Florida, beneath a bridge.
The young kid was allegedly fatally shot and stabbed by Letecia Stauch, who then allegedly took his body and dumped it at Colorado Highway 105 and South Perry Park Road before driving to Florida. Letecia Stauch, as stated in the testimony, "had some degree of hostility towards the family as a stepparent," according to investigators, who also claimed that she was unhappy with her marriage to the teen's father.
