Early Life & Career: - Crosby was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round (193rd overall) in the 2007 NFL Draft, the third kicker overall and the last of three straight choices for the Packers. Crosby went into training camp facing off against incumbent placekicker Dave Rayner. Crosby made the longest field goal in Heinz Field history during Green Bay's first preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Crosby was promoted to the starting lineup at the final roster cut. Crosby and the Packers played in Super Bowl XLV against the Steelers at the end of the 2010 season. He completed all four extra point tries and his sole field goal attempt in the 31-25 win.
Crosby signed a four-year contract extension with the Packers on March 1, 2016. Due to the Packers' absence of Aaron Rodgers for the most of the season, defensive struggles, and special teams missteps, 2017 would be only the second time in Crosby's 10-year NFL career that he did not participate in a playoff game. Crosby's contract was modified by the Green Bay Packers on March 23, 2021, by changing a portion of his basic pay into a salary bonus and his $1.25M roster bonus into a signing bonus. Part of this reorganisation includes extending his contract by three years.
