Mehboob Khan Wiki and Bio:- Mehboob Khan was born on 9 September 1907 in Bilimora, Baroda State, British India. He died of a heart attack on 28 May 1964 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. Mehboob Khan was an Indian film director, producer and actor. He is best known for directing the classic Hindi film Mother India (1957), which won the Filmfare Award for Best Film and was India's first submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. He also directed the critically acclaimed film Aurat. His first film as a director was Takdeer (1933). He directed several successful films, including Aurat (1940), Anmol Ghadi (1946), Andaz (1949), Aan (1952) and Mother India (1957). Khan was awarded the Padma Shri in 1958 for his contribution to Indian cinema. He died in 1964 at the age of 57.
