Melanie BARBEZAT (born August 10, 1991) is a Swiss curler from Zolicofen. She currently plays as a leader in the Silvana Tirinzoni team. BARBEZAT represented Switzerland at the 2018 European Curling Championships and the 2019 World Women's Curling Championships, winning the latter.

Barbezat's first experience in a major international event came in 2012, when he won the right to represent Switzerland at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships in stersund, Sweden, an event that featured many future Olympic, world and international medalists. Sarah McManus, Lauren Gray, Anna Sidorova and Victoria Moiseeva. Barbazette's team finished the round robin out of the playoff position with a 3–6 record.

BARBEZAT competed in track and field as a child (sprint, high jump) but dropped it at age 13 to focus on curling. He attended Swiss curling camps with his best friend Jenny Perret (SUI) and contemporaries such as Peter de Cruz, Benot Schwarz and Valentin Tanner, members of the Swiss men's team.
