Career:- Mark presided over the Urban Native Youth Association from 2000 to 2006. She co-founded the Vancouver Aboriginal Community Policing Center. The YWCA Vancouver Young Woman of Excellence Award was given to Mark in 2006. She started working at the Office of the Representative for Children and Youth in 2007 and spent eight years there then she was promoted to associate deputy representative in 2013. She won the NDP nomination over Diana Day on June 14, 2015, and the following year, the Native Education College gave her the Chief Joe Mathias Leadership Award. In July 2017, Mark was appointed the Minister of Higher Education. She developed the Provincial Tuition Waiver program, which enables foster youngsters and those who have just left the system to enroll in postsecondary education without paying tuition. Mark was appointed the Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, and Sport on November 26 following the 2020 election. In order to take a medical leave of absence, Mark stated on September 28, 2022, that she would resign from the government. She was then designated a minister without a portfolio.
