Narendra Singh Tomar Wiki and Bio: - Narendra Singh Tomar was born on Wednesday, 12 June 1957 (age 66 years; as in 2023) in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Gemini. In 1979–80, he obtained his bachelor's degree in the Faculty of Arts from Government College Murar, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Narendra Singh Tomar served as the President of BJP Yuva Manch in Gwalior from 1980–1984. In 1983, he took charge as a councilor in the Municipal Corporation of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He served as the State Minister of BJPYF in Madhya Pradesh for 2 years, 1984 and 1985. In 1986, he took charge as the state vice president of BJPYF in Madhya Pradesh. In 2006, he became the state party president of BJP in Madhya Pradesh, succeeding Satyanarayan Jatiya.
On 18 September 2020, Tomar was given the additional charge of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries after Harsimrat Kaur Badal resigned from the post. In the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, Tomar, contesting from Dimani, defeated Balveer Singh Dandotia of Bahujan Samaj Party by a margin of 24,000. Arjun Munda succeeded Tomar as the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in December 2023.
