Ola Foundation

Ola Foundation is the arm of OLA established for social welfare. The foundation aims to bring a sustainable change in the lives of the women by enabling them access to the resources and opportunities of working.

The target of the foundation is to make the women belonging from low income families employed and bring a change in the nation building.

Date of Foundation

In December 2016, Ms. Rajalakshmi Aggarwal launched this foundation who was the former marketer and social worker.
Her dedication of working towards the welfare of women coming from low income families was derived from her experience at the Asian Youth Centre where she saw the economic issues faced by these families.

Activity

The foundation wants to make the women a change maker by enhancing their skills so that they could get job opportunities and become a helping hand in their families financially.

The foundation trains the women so that they could access job opportunities easily. For this purpose they have a tie up with EduJobs Academy, an NSDC Certified partner.

In the area of job opportunities, we hire the wives of the OLA drivers for handmade gifts which we forward to the employees of the OLA as a gift and the women get paid.

The reach of the foundation at present is limited to Karnataka, India only.

The launch of this foundation was by the trustee Ms. Rajalakshmi Aggarwal who from her experience at Asian Youth Centre decided to start this organization.
