Panchvarshiya yojana is started by the central government every 5 years for profitable and social development for the people of the country. Panchvarshiya yojana are centralized and intertwined public profitable programs. This Five Year Plans have been issued under this scheme. Under this scheme, installations are being handed in the country for agrarian development, furnishing employment openings, promoting productivity by using mortal and physical coffers, etc.
The first five year plan was started by the first Prime Minister of our country, Pandit Nehru in the year 1951 and the term of this plan lasted till 1956. It's the public plan of India which is developed and enforced by the Planning Commission under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister. The agricultural sector was given special emphasis in the first five year plan because during that time the deficit of food grains was a matter of serious concern.

Along with this, attention is also paid towards social justice, poverty junking, full employment, modernization etc. in Five YearPlans.Till now 13 five year plans have been enforced in our country. Through which some ideal has been set by the government and also work has been done on that purpose. The profitable condition of the country has also bettered a lot through these 5- year plans.
Five Year Scheme were presented by the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru on 9 July 1951.
The Planning Commission of Nation was constituted in 1950 to conduct this five year scheme.
Under the five year plans, some plans are run for 5 years so that the country can develop, and also new plans are made for the coming 5 years.
