The Central Government and the State Government are making every attempt to empower and self-sufficiency the women of the country. Shri Narendra Modi, the country's Prime Minister, launched the PM Scooty Yojana. Amma Two Wheeler Scheme is another name for this scheme. The scheme was created specifically for the country's working women. In which the government will provide financial aid to working women who must travel from one location to another in order to purchase a scooty, allowing them to commute without difficulty. PM Scooty Yojana 2022 Overview

In 2018, the Modi government launched the Pradhan Mantri School Scheme for working women who migrate from one place to another for a living. The government distributes two-wheelers to the ladies in the Amma Scooty Scheme so that they do not have any difficulty traveling. For jobs, women must relocate from one location to another that is far away. Women are unable to walk there on a daily basis. Under this scheme, women are given a discount of 50% i.e. a discount of Rs 25,000 is given.

• To begin, the applicant women must go to the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women's official website (https://www.tamilnadumahalir.org/).
• The website's home page will then appear in front of you.
• On the home page, select the application form download option.
• The forms are available in both English and Tamil Nadu. There will be distinct application forms for citizens living in cities and those living in rural areas.
• You will need to download three different sorts of forms, including 1. Rural/Urban Application Form 2. Form of Field Verification 3. Subsidy Claim Form, and so on.
• Fill out the form with the requested information and attach the requested documents.
• After completing the application form, submit it to the relevant block office or urban local authority.

PM Scooty Yojana 2022 Eligibility Criteria

• The scheme would only be available to indigenous women in Tamil Nadu.
• The Pradhan Mantri Scooty Scheme is only available to women in the state of Tamil Nadu.
• The application lady must be between the ages of 18 and 40 to be considered for this plan.
• The annual income of the woman's household should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 in order to apply for the Amma Two Wheeler Scheme.
• The scheme is only available to one working lady per family.

PM Scooty Yojana 2022 Benefits

• Women will receive a 50 percent subsidy rebate for purchasing a scooter under the Pradhan Mantri Scooty Yojana,
• Amounting to a financial assistance of Rs. 25,000. The Prime Minister announced the plan on the 70th birthday of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. Whose purpose is to supply scooty to over 100,000 ladies.
• After that, women will no longer have to wait for vehicles to transport them to and from work, and they will be able to accomplish their jobs well for an extended period of time.
