Applicants should belong to a financially weak family and should not have an electricity connection in their house.
This free electricity will be provided to the poor whose names will be recorded in the Socio-Economic Census (SEC).
Any poor whose name is not on the list can apply by paying a fee of Rs 500 in one go or in 10 installments.
