The Punjab authorities has launched an e-labor portal for registration of labor playing cards in on line mode.Through this portal, all employees of the state can entire the registration method in on-line mode.

Punjab BOCW board is running various schemes specifically stipend scheme, shagun yojana, LTC, ex-gratia, general surgery, tool kit scheme, maternity benefit scheme, Balri Tohfa Yojana etc. for labourers. Punjab Labour card Registration

The registration process process to apply for the scheme is given here.

  • To apply for the scheme, the applicant has to open the official website https://pblabour.gov.in. A home page will appear.
  • Now from the homepage of the website, you have to click on the  "Create New User” tab present on the right side of the page.
  • Punjab Labour Card Application Form page will displayed on screen.
  • Fill in all the related information like name, father/mother name, date of birth, gender, caste, e-mail ID, mobile number, aadhar number, etc carefully and upload documents.
  • Click on Submit Button for final submission of application.

Eligibility criteria for punjab labour card

  • Monthly income 15000 or below
  • Should not be engaged in Organized Sector
  • Should be an unorganised worker
  • Entry age between 18 and 40 years
  • Only workers of Punjab can apply on Punjab ELabor Portal.
  • Should not be with a member of EPF/NPS/ESIC.

Benefits of punjab labour card

  • Stipend Scheme: Rs 3,000 to Rs 70,000 per annum (for first class to degree courses) for kids of registered production workers.
  • Shagun yojana: For the wedding of two daughters of registered creation workers  31,000-51000/- (amount of omen) on the wedding of every daughter. If the female herself is a registered member, she can be entitled to an omen for her marriage under this scheme.
  • Funeral Assistance Scheme: Financial help of Rs. 10,000 / – might be supplied for funeral and funeral fees withinside the state of Punjab after the death of a registered production employee or his family member.
  • Cycle Scheme for Children of Construction Workers: The Board presents as soon as free cycle for kids of registered production people studying in 9th to 12th grade withinside the state of Punjab.
  • Financial help of Rs. 20,000 / – per year of production employees can be supplied for the care of mentally challenged or disabled children.
  • LTC theme during this Leave travel Concession Scheme: every registered construction staff can get Rs. 2000 help for journeys of religious/ historical places in India or visiting home town. The beneficiary shall be eligible for this profit once each 2 years.
  • Occupational Diseases Scheme: It is a Medical Health Scheme for Registered Construction Workers and their families. Rs. 1.5 Lacs per year on family floater basis given to them.
  • General surgery Aid scheme: rs. 50000 or actual amount (Whichever is less) provided to registered beneficiary construction workers and their family members for general surgery.
  • Bahri tohfa scheme: financial assistance provided in the form of FDR of rs. 51000 and it will be encashed only at time of her marriage.
  • Pension Scheme: A registered construction worker once completion of 60 year’s age and 3 years of membership, is entitled for a pension of Rs. 2,000 per month. Family Pension @ 1,000/- Rupees per month.
