Since April 2016, the Roshni Foundation and Charitable Trust have worked to improve the lives of disadvantaged indigenous Adivasi students attending Zilla Parishad schools in Maharashtra's Dahanu area. It has enlisted the help of seventeen Z.P. schools and a total of 2000 students. It promotes a holistic approach to education, combining fun and play with cutting-edge learning methodologies and technology. It supports long-term quality education by offering basic and modern resources, which leads to development in areas such as health, hygiene, culture, sports, and technology.

Geeta Muchhala & Sanjiv Muchhala is the founder of ROSHNI Foundation. Geeta Muchhala holds a bachelor's degree in microbiology and a master's degree in pathology. She is extremely enthusiastic about education. She followed her childhood passion of working in communities in 2013. She is a motivating leader who focuses on social transformation through initiatives in education, health care, and skill training.
Sanjiv Muchhala is a businessman with a commerce degree. He is a big believer in the power of education and wants to see India become completely literate. From 2013 onwards, he began contributing to a more sustainable society.
