Early Life: - Madden was born in Queens, New York, to a Jewish mother and an Irish Catholic father. He grew raised in nearby Lawrence and attended a local high school in Nassau County, New York. Madden attended the University of Miami for two years after high school before returning to Long Island. He founded the firm with $1,100 in the trunk of his automobile in 1990, as the youngest of three brothers.
