As you may be aware, there are numerous travel limitations as a result of Corona. Railways and the Maharashtra government have made Universal Travel Pass services available to citizens for travel in accordance with the Kovid-19 criteria. Under the Universal Travel Pass, you can now travel without any restrictions.
Citizens who have received both doses of the Covid-19 Vaccine and desire to travel within 14 days of receiving the second dose can apply for a Universal Travel Pass. When traveling, people must get a state-issued Universal Travel Pass. This pass is granted following the state government portal's verification of vaccination status. In terms of travel, the Railway Department and the government have underlined that residents who do not have a Universal Travel Pass would not be able to purchase tickets. All information on the person concerned can be acquired by scanning the QR Code found on the Universal Travel Pass. Citizens will benefit from this pass because it will make it easier for them to obtain tickets.
Citizens can now access the portal through the UTS Mobile App. Citizens can also benefit from the Universal Travel Pass service with the use of this app. The mobile application and the UTS portal have been merged. All passengers in all classes can purchase tickets using this app instead of going to the counter. Citizens' services can be rewarded with both travel and season tickets through the App. For the convenience of the general public, this app is now available in both Google Play and the App Store as of November 24th.
Citizens who have previously downloaded the UTS App will need to upgrade it in order to use the new service. The UTS Mobile App was suspended during Kovid's tenure because there was no procedure for verifying vaccination status at the time, but it has now been linked to this State Government portal for the people's convenience. As a result of this procedure, citizens now have access to the Vaccine Verification facility.
