UP Election 2022 District-wise Dates: Assembly elections (UP Vidhansabha Chunav 2022) have been announced in Uttar Pradesh. Voting will be held in seven phases in UP. Votes will be cast in UP from February 10. The second phase will be on February 14, the third phase on February 20, the fourth phase on February 23, the fifth on February 27, the sixth on March 3 and the seventh on March 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10. Voting will take place in 12 districts during the first phase. Voting will take place in nine districts during the second phase, sixteen districts during the third phase, nine districts during the fourth phase, eleven districts during the fifth phase, ten districts during the sixth phase, and ten districts during the seventh phase.

Voting in these districts in the first phase

In the first phase, voting will be held in Meerut, Shamli, Baghpat, Meerut, Hapur, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Gautam Budh Nagar and Agra. The first phase will be on February 10.

Voting in these districts in the Second phase

In the second phase, voting will be held in Amroha, Sambhal, Saharanpur, Bijnor, Rampur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Badaun, Moradabad. The second phase will be on February 14.

Voting in these districts in the Third phase

In the third phase, voting will be held in Hathras, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Firozabad, Etah, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar. The third phase of polling will be held on February 20.

In the fourth phase, voting will be held in Sitapur, Hardoi, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lucknow, Fatehpur, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Banda. The fourth phase of polling will be held on February 23.

Voting in these districts in the Fifth phase

In the fifth phase, voting will be held in Gonda, Ayodhya, Shravasti, Bahraich, Barabanki, Amethi, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh. Polling for the fifth will be held on February 27.

Voting in these districts in the Sixth phase

In the sixth phase, voting will be held in Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Basti, Ambedkar Nagar, Gorakhpur, Ballia, Deoria and Sant Kabir Nagar. The sixth phase of polling will be held on March 3.

In the seventh phase, voting will be held in Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Ghazipur, Sonbhadra, Chandauli. The seventh phase will be on 7 March.

Roadshow, cycle travel banned till January 15

The model code of conduct was enforced in the state as soon as the UP assembly polls were declared on Saturday. Roadshows have been prohibited until the code of conduct is established. Pad yatra, roadshow, cycle yatra, and street gatherings in Uttar Pradesh would be prohibited till January 15, according to Chief Electoral Officer Sushil Chandra. You will also be unable to campaign after eight o'clock at night.

The Election Commission also directed that the Corona Guidelines be followed throughout the election. He stated that just five persons will be permitted to participate in the door-to-door campaign. Only candidates will be able to hold virtual rallies during this period. He stated that action will be done if the Kovid regulations were broken.
