Early Life & Career: - He began his senior career in July 2004 with Brndby, where he won the Danish Superliga and the Danish Cup before joining Liverpool in January 2006. Agger played the entire game as Liverpool defeated Chelsea in the 2006 FA Community Shield. Agger scored his first goal for Liverpool in a 2-1 win over West Ham United on August 26, 2006. On 4 October 2006, he received the PFA's fan award for his remarkable and consistent performances in September. He later appeared in the 2007 UEFA Champions League Final, which Liverpool lost 2-1 to Inter Milan.
