Golineh Atai Wiki:- Golineh Atai was born on 8 December 1974 in Tehran, Iran. She is a German journalist and TV correspondent who is known as a Russia expert. She attended Wilhelmi High School in Sinsheim and then went on to complete her studies at Heidelberg University. She received the degree of M.Sc. in Romance Studies, Politology, and Iranian Studies and after that, she became a Journalist. She finished her training at Südwestrundfunk. She served as a correspondent for ARD in Cairo from 2006 to 2008 and in Moscow from 2013 to 2018.

As a TV reporter in Mainz, she was in charge of reporting from Rhineland-Palatinate. Atai worked as a contributing editor for the ARD morning show from 2010 to 2011. She began working as an editor and reporter for WDR in Cologne's Review of the Day in December 2011. Atai covered the Euromaidan in Ukraine for ARD from Kyiv.  She relocated to ZDF on January 1st, 2022, and became the leader of the Cairo studio. She served as an on-site correspondent for the ZDF Sports studio at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. She has received many awards in her career so far.
