Kenei Ritse is a psychology student at Tetseo College Dimapur and is from Pfutseromi hamlet in the Phek district. She is a university topper who is actively promoting for mental health awareness in Nagaland, according to Talent Foresight.

Kenei Ritse News:- Kenei Ritse, 21, of Nagaland, was named Miss Northeast 2023 after winning the hearts of the judges in the final round. She received a monetary reward of Rs 1 lakh. Anamika Borah of Assam finished first, with Jennifer Renthlei of Mizoram finishing second. Miss Nagaland, Hikali Achumi, was crowned Miss Beautiful Smile. Prem Singh Tamang, the Chief Minister of Sikkim, presented the awardees with checks and titles.
On Sunday, the big finale took place in Saramsa Garden in Gangtok, Sikkim. The event was sponsored by the Sikkim government and organized by the North East Beauty Pageant Organization. Her primary reason for competing in beauty pageants is to raise public awareness about mental health issues.
Ritse has so far launched two programs under Beauty with A Purpose (BWAP), both of which were hosted in Pfutsero, Phek. Kenei Ritse represented the Nagaland Beauty and Aesthetics Society (Miss Nagaland Oorganization). The campaign successfully attracted roughly 200 participants from various educational institutions with the assistance of 'Team Afti' and a network of well-known specialists. With the purpose of increasing collective knowledge of mental health, she intends to take her initiative to the next level in order to make individuals feel heard, protected, and to eradicate the stigma associated with it in society.
