Sivan Kailasavadivu Wiki:- Sivan Kailasavadivu was born on 14 April 1957 in Mela Sarakkalvilai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is an Indian aerospace engineer and he served as the Secretary of the Department of Space and chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation and Space Commission. He formerly held the positions of Director of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center and Director of the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre.

He is his family's first graduate. In 1980, Sivan received a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering from Madras Institute of Technology. In 1982, he received a master's degree in aeronautical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore and began working for ISRO.  In 2006, he received his doctorate in aeronautical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is a member of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, the Indian Aeronautical Society, and the Indian Systems Society.

Sivan did not want Somnath to become the head of ISRO. Somnath made this claim in his autobiography, 'Nilavu Kudicha Simhangal,' which is based on his life. When the debate around this subject heated up, Somnath clarified, saying, 'I have not written anything that K in becoming ISRO Chief. Sivan attempted to sabotage my promotion. This is incorrect.' Somnath has chosen not to publish the book for the time being due to the growing controversy.

When asked about this by the news agency PTI, Somnath stated that every person must overcome several challenges in order to reach the greatest level in any institution. Many obstacles must be overcome. He encountered similar issues. He stated that I had written about the difficulties in my life. I made no personal remarks about anyone. He has nothing against anyone.
